Here is our first post: the description of our team members!
We are a group of four people : Stéphanie, Lysis, Inès and François-Xavier. We love reading (as part of our studies but also for pleasure) and it is this passion that made us want to team up to create a blog about reading.
Stéphanie is 45 years old and lives in South of France, in Nîmes. She has the pleasure to be the mother of two children. Currently, she studies in Licence Sciences of language, in 2nd year, with the project to become speech therapist later. She chose distance education to continue her work. Indeed, since several years, she works in high school with dropout students, aged around fifteen or older who feel the need to continue training and furthering their education or need to work. She also teaches them how to discover their emotions, their needs, how to managing stress. … It’s very interesting, this contact is different and pleasant.
Then, there is Inès. She is 19 and currently live in Paris where she studies a history and philosophy. She wants to specialize herself in history of science (to study the mechanisms of knowledge production and the relationship of institutions to knowledgeable subjects). She is also doing a bachelor's degree in Classics in Montpelier as she does love Latin. Inès loves literature but also all kind of art. She is indeed a beginner guitarist.
The third member is Lysis, a 19 years old student in political science in Lille and philosophy in Montpellier. She's always very much enjoyed reading novels, especially those from the romantic era, and has recently also turned to philosophy writings.
Finally, François-Xavier is 21 years old. He is studying at Sciences Po Lille and is in his second year of the bachelor's degree in philosophy. He likes reading novels in the sun and being stimulated by philosophical essays.
